This one is much overdue, even though everyone must have seen it coming:

For those who are still in the dark, the pretty pictures above show Nigel’s latest accessory (although not technically a gadget, it still has enough dials and buttons to qualify as one…buttons!)
It is a carbon dial stainless steel chronograph that comes all in black with:
- 1/1-second stopwatch
- 3 analog hands (hour, minute, second)
- 3 dials (stopwatch minutes and seconds, 24-hour)
- Accuracy of 20 seconds per month (give or take)
Specifications are 50.6 x 45.5 x 13.7 mm / 177 g.
Start feeling sorry for the Casio? Don’t be, it has a new role as a glorified paperweight now

Snagged some test shots with the LX3 while we were in Low Yat last Sunday camera-surveying. Some photos of the floors in the building, shot using max resolution, RAW and in Aperture Priority mode:

Gotta love ‘bokeh’ shots. The LX3′s F2.0 aperture certainly helps in this department:

Another test shot, this time in JPEG mode. As any usual Sunday, Low Yat is teeming with people:

This Sunday, we’re heading off to Lowyat/Sg Wang to check out these two beauties to help me decide which I shall be a proud owner of. Currently, based on appearance alone, I’m more keen on the Samsung!
Panasonic Lumix LX3

Samsung WB1000

We’ll be testing these cameras out first. Stress test by photographing us in the most colourful clothes. Then water test to check for durability! After all, what’s the point of checking out cameras when you can’t torture them first
*Update* Looks like the Samsung WB1000 is yet to be released here. And the successor to the Panasonic Lumix LX3 will be released soon. I suppose it means that we’re back to using phones as cameras. To all the shutterbugs out there, please don’t get an aneurysm. We’re harmless, really!
Since there’s an N club going on here, it’s time to introduce another pair of N shoes to the N family, the GW500BP. These shoes are comfortable, lightweight, and require absolutely no breaking in.

Doesn’t hurt that the colours are cute too!
*Nigel*: I’m so glad you like them. They look absolutely cute on you!
A recent visit to the Bukit Tinggi rabbit farm shows just how cute rabbits are…and how well suited they are for the kiddies to torture! Here’s a prime example:

Look at how cute the little guy is! Look at the chokehold on the poor creature! If that’s not evidence enough, take a look at this:

What’s up doc?

Looking at something cute gets you through a long day. Especially when they’re also soft and cuddly!
*Nigel*: Yes, especially when they’re made by you!
*Update* The toys were sent to their new homes. They’re well received and well loved!
